JSC Kokand oil and gas drilling was founded on 14 April 1973 and was named Kokand administration of boring works. According to the order of the state property Committee No. 404-TO-FOR from 05 June 1996 Kokand the drilling Department was renamed as open Joint-stock Company Kukon neftgaz parmalash ishlari. From 2014 renamed into Joint-stock Company Kukon neftgaz parmalash ishlari.
The main shareholder is JSC Uzgeoburneftegaz (51 share).
The society is one of the largest organizations engaged in drilling exploration, exploratory and production wells for oil and gas. Provides services in all areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The company s shares was listed on Tashkent Republican Stock Exchange on January, 27 2016 under symbol KNGP.
