Bukhara Territorial Electricity Company JSC, located in Bukhara, is a distribution and supply company in the electricity market. It purchases electricity from Regional Electric Networks JSC and distributes and sells it to end consumers. The company was created according to the order of the Bukhara Regional State Committee for the Management of State Property and Support for Entrepreneurship No. 86 dated July 23, 2003, which transformed the subsidiary "Bukhara Electric Networks" into a Joint Stock Company. The state's share in the company's charter capital is 51%, foreign investors hold a 45% share, and the workforce holds a 4% share. As of August 1, 2019, the company's balance sheet includes the following electrical equipment: - Overhead lines 0.4-6-10 kV: 14,247 km - Overhead lines 35-110 kV: 1,483 km - Cable lines 0.4-6-10 kV: 473 km - Transformer points 6-10/0.4 kV: 4,957 units - Transformer substations 35/110 kV: 88 units - Total power of transformer points 6-10 kV: 761,000 kVA - Total power of substations 35-110 kV: over 1 million kVA Currently, the company consists of 12 energy supply structural enterprises of district and city subordination. It also operates 8 operational services, a department for the implementation of electric power, and 17 departments.
