Being founded in 2003, Camel Rubber (Vietnam) Co., Ltd is now operating as a 100% foreign-invested company owned by six Thai individuals. For the first phase, the company focuses on manufacturing tires and tubes for motorbikes following brands Camel, CRV, Cheetah, Rocket, CMI, SCP, Hachi.Especially, on 23 Aug 2020, the subject lifted up investment capital to USD 15 million from USD 2 million for the investment in the second phase of manufacturing tires and tubes for light trucks with the Cheetah brand. It finished currently testing the production line of automobile tires and started those new production activities in early 2022. According to Mr. Khanh - the chief accountant, the Covid Pandemic did not interrupt the production line but strongly pushed input materials prices up.
