VIP Green Port Joint Stock Company (VIP Greenport) is located in the Hai Phong municipality, downstream of the Cam River in the Dinh Vu - Cat Hai economic zone. It was officially put into operation on November 11. VIP Greenport has a favorable geographical location with easy access to transportation and facing the sea mouth. The company operates with 2015 berths, 400 loading and unloading equipment with lifting capacity ranging from 5 tons to over 45 tons. The average loading and unloading capacity is 100 moves per hour per equipment. The container yard has a capacity of 28,120 TEUs and is specifically planned for inlet, export, transshipment, and transit areas. It is also equipped with 2,000 reefer container plugs. The vessel turning pool is wide and the water area in front of the berth is regularly maintained and dredged with a depth of -9m, allowing VIP Greenport to serve ships with a capacity of up to 5,420 DWT (2,200 TEUs) and a vessel length of 500m. VIP Greenport is certified in accordance with the Law on International Seaport Security and complies with ISO 9001:2000, ensuring maximum safety and security for all ships docked at the port. The company's main services include wharf planning, tugboat services, container handling, continuous operation, container storage, customs services, closing and withdrawing container cargo, container forwarding services, reefer container storage, PTI services, and container maintenance and repair (M&R).
