Naturgy BAN, S.A., formerly known as Gas Natural BAN, S.A., is a regulated natural gas utility company incorporated in 1992 and headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It operates as a subsidiary of Invergas, S.A., and is part of the global energy group Naturgy Energy Group, S.A., based in Spain. The company is publicly traded on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange under the ticker GBAN. Naturgy BAN is primarily engaged in the distribution and supply of natural gas across the northern and western regions of Buenos Aires Province, covering approximately 15,000 square kilometers, including both urban and industrial zones. It also operates a Peak Shaving Plant for the cryogenic storage of liquefied natural gas (LNG), enhancing supply reliability during peak demand periods. As of 2025, the company employs around 356 people and reported annual revenues of over ARS 545 billion. The company changed its name to Naturgy BAN in January 2019 as part of a global rebranding initiative by its parent group. Over its three-decade history, Naturgy BAN has played a key role in Argentina’s energy infrastructure, contributing to the expansion and modernization of natural gas services in the region.
