Transportadora de Gas del Sur S.A. (TGS), incorporated in 1992 following the privatization of Argentina’s gas sector, is the largest natural gas transporter in Latin America, operating over 9,248 km of pipelines and delivering approximately 60% of the gas consumed in Argentina. Headquartered in Buenos Aires, the company also leads in the processing and commercialization of natural gas liquids—such as ethane, propane, butane, and natural gasoline—through its Cerri Complex in Bahía Blanca. TGS is publicly traded on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange (BYMA: TGSU2) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: TGS), with its controlling shareholder being Compañía de Inversiones de Energía S.A. (CIESA), jointly owned by Pampa Energía S.A. and Grupo Inversor Petroquímica S.L./PCT LLC. Its most important products and services include natural gas transportation, midstream infrastructure, and liquid gas processing.
