YPF S.A. is the largest oil company in Argentina. YPF's main activity consists of the exploration and production of oil and natural gas. It also focuses on refining activities, marketing, transportation, and distribution of oil and a wide range of derivative products. YPF was the first oil company in the world established as a state enterprise and the first to become vertically integrated.
