Histoty:
2007 : The Company was incorporated on August 20, 2007 as a Private Company limited by shares and
2011 : The Company was converted into a Public Limited Company on October 29, 2011.
2016: The Company listed on Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange on 30 March 2016.
Asian Entech Power Corporation Limited and OPG Energy (pvt.) Limited were participated in a bidding process of three power plants through joint venture agreement and win the bids.
The Company has three 22 MW Gas Fired Power Plant at Feni, Tangail and Narsingdi on Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis for a term of 15 years . These plants are supplying electricity to Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) and Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) as per PPA signed with these two government bodies. Besides these, The Company holds almost 100 shares of three subsidiary companies of total 225 MW HFO based power plants
