Established on August 22, 1960, in the municipalities of the Center of the Department of Caldas and later extended to those of the East region of it. From the beginning it has had the sponsorship and support of the National Federation of Coffee Growers in the access to working capital for the purchase of the grain and construction of a modern infrastructure looking for an adequate commercialization.
