Lonia d.d. is a company located in Kutina, Croatia. It is a member of the Ultra gros d.o.o. association, which consists of 23 Croatian trading houses. Lonia is the largest trading house in the Sisak-Moslavina County. The company's story began in 1954 when "Opskrba," registered for wholesale and retail trade, started a long tradition of trading in the city of Kutina. Over the past six decades, the company has undergone numerous organizational and structural changes, resulting in name changes. It was known as "Garić" to one generation, "Slavija" to another, and for the past 30 years (since 1992), the residents of Sisak-Moslavina County have been familiar with the service staff of Lonia during their daily shopping. Lonia's seriousness and size as a trading company are confirmed by its investment purchases, such as Bjelovarska Gradska pekara d.o.o. in December 2013, the acquisition of around forty Dionin stores in Zagreb in 2014, and the latest acquisition of Sloga podravske trgovine d.o.o. in December 2019. With the acquisition of Sloga, the company's retail network expanded by an additional 70 stores and extended to the Koprivnica-Križevci County. In June 2022, Lonia became part of Studenac market, the retail chain with the largest network of stores in Croatia (over 1,000) and more than 5,500 employees. Lonia operates 300 stores of various formats in Zagreb, Zagreb County, Sisak-Moslavina County, Bjelovar-Bilogora County, Požega-Slavonia County, Brod-Posavina County, and Koprivnica-Križevci County.
