The 100% foreign owned Mü-Gu Kft. Ltd. was established in 1989. Its owner is the Austrian company Müller-Guttenbrunn GmbH Amstetten, as a market leader in its home country due to nearly sixty years of achievements in metal waste processing and management.
The Company entered the Hungarian metal waste processing market in 1992, and with a sales volume exceeding 100,000 tons per year by 2003 it has obtained a substantial market share.
During the more than twenty years of its operation, the Company has set up a modern scrap yard for steel and metal waste at Budapest on 30,000 square metres depot, as a result of consistent development, the observance of European environmental management standards and an up-to-date approach to the environment.
The processing plant has a shredder, hydraulic shears, an induction sorter and screen, and a modern vehicle fleet for moving waste throughout the country.
