Saipa Diesel Public Shareholding Company was established in 1963 through an exclusive agreement with Mack Trucks to assemble their trucks and various types of trailers. The agreement ended in 1978 and until that time Saipa Diesel produces 7500 units of Mack Trucks. Today the company`s product catalog comprises has a light, medium and heavy section with 35 models. The company is not only manufacturer but is also involved in the design, development, marketing, and export of the heavy duty commercial vehicles mainly to Kuwait, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Yemen, Ethiopia, Sudan, Italy, and Angola.
