It is a 50-50 joint venture between Grupo Quimmco and Meritor Inc., now part of Cummins Inc. SISAMEX is a world-class manufacturer of automotive components, specializing in axles, brakes, assemblies, and related parts for commercial vehicles (Class 5 to 8), as well as off-highway and agricultural equipment. The company operates a large production facility in Escobedo and employs approximately 2,000 people. SISAMEX supplies components to major OEMs such as John Deere, CNH, Magna, Axle Alliance, and, through Meritor, to International, Freightliner, Kenworth, and Mercedes-Benz. SISAMEX, known for high-quality engineering and manufacturing capabilities, including hot and cold forming, machining, heat treatment, and gear grinding.
