Yangzijiang Maritime Development Ltd. was originally incorporated as Yangzijiang Maritime Development Pte. Ltd. on 28 April 2025 in Singapore. It was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Yangzijiang Financial Holding Ltd. (YZJFH) as part of a strategic restructuring to separate out its maritime investment business. In August 2025, as part of the spin-off and planned listing, YZJFH distributed 100 of the subsidiary s shares to its shareholders through a capital reduction and in-specie distribution. In the process, the company changed its name from Pte. Ltd. to Yangzijiang Maritime Development Ltd. on 17 October 2025 and obtained conditional eligibility to list on the Singapore Exchange (SGX-ST).
YZJ Maritime operates as a focused maritime investment platform, providing vessel investments, ship financing, chartering, shipbroking, and agency services. The spin-off allows the company to operate independently, strategically deploy capital, and maximize value in the shipping and maritime finance sector.
